Phuc Ly, E.A.

Phuc has been involved with taxation for over 5 years, particularly for small businesses.  Phuc graduated in 2004 with a Political Science degree with a minor in Speech communication.  He is a federally licensed E.A. (enrolled agent); that permits him to represent clients in audits and tax preparation issues with the Internal Revenue Service and all 50 of the state taxing authorities.  He has represented many clients in field and office audits with a high success rate.  Not only does he help with taxation representation, he also helps guide businesses both when they first start and when they need aid in determining the best tax approach.  He is highly sought after for individual tax planning and estimation and provides helpful tax updates to clients year-round. In his spare time he reads business books and watches as well as plays football and baseball.

Theresa Phan

Theresa began at Alpha B Group many years ago as a part-time employee. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley in 2003, it was two years later in 2005 that she jumped at the opportunity to be involved with Alpha B full-time. Since then she has dedicated her energy to helping individuals and small businesses meet their filing requirements with the IRS, Franchise Tax Board, Board of Equalization and Employment Development Department. She is the sales tax specialist at Alpha B amongst other things.  Beyond preparing financial statements and tax returns, Theresa enjoys the relationships she builds with each of her clients. Outside of Alpha B, she regularly enjoys badminton, tennis, yoga, reading and playing word games.

Tri Hoang

Tri started at Alpha B Group as a part-time employee 10+ years ago while working toward her business administration degree at San Jose State University.  Since graduating in 2004 and coming to Alpha B Group full time, she has prepared books for a wide variety of clients and has become an expert in business tax preparation for all types of entities.  She loves helping small businesses get up and running.  She is well-versed in accounting principles as well as Quickbooks and has helped setup as well as train many new and old business owners on how to most properly and efficiently track their income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and equity.  On a personal note, when she is not working, Tri enjoys all forms of art, being a technology enthusiast, a good glass of wine, and practicing yoga.
